Frequently Asked Questions
Please review our frequently asked questions, and if you have any additional questions contact Claire!
Does my child HAVE to engage with every song or activity?
Not at all! Children will engage with songs and activities that interest them. Different days mean different moods, attention span, and well being. One class a child may actively take part in all another not at all. Active engagement isn’t always needed to benefit a child. Watching and listening is learning.
Do I (an adult) need to sing and dance?
No not at all. Children will be thrilled to experience everything with your active involvement. The level of the involvement is up to you as it is with a child.
Do I need to be in bare feet?
No. Although the studio does have a “no street shoes” rule you are welcome for being a clean pair of shoes or pair of slippers to put on. We have a wonderful old wooden floor that can become slippery, which is why we suggest grippy socks or clean footwear instead of socks.
What if a child has a hard time and loses their cool?
It happens to everyone. The caregivers in class have all experienced it and will be understanding.
You can go to the side or take a break in the hall if the child needs some time.
Can we have snacks in class?
Feel free to provide babies with breast feeding or bottle. Children can bring a water bottle. Please refrain from eating in the class
Is registration for one child only?
Session fee is $120 for one child, and $180 for multiple children to attend class. More than one caregiver can attend classes.
What if my schedule changes - can I come to a different class?
Yes, contact Kindermoves and if we have availability in another class we can make that happen.
Do you close for snow/bad weather?
When Kenton schools are closed due to weather we are automatic closed. Kindermoves closings can be found on our social media pages on Facebook and Instagram.
